RULES & CODE OF CONDUCT
Consent & Physical Interaction
It is not just expected — it is non-negotiable. Consent must always be:
Clear and enthusiastic – A wholehearted yes, not a hesitant maybe.
Ongoing – It must be checked in with and can be withdrawn at any time.
Freely given – Without pressure, persuasion, intoxication, or assumption.
Physical interaction of any kind requires explicit verbal consent. Do not assume; always ask. If someone says no — in words, in body language, or by withdrawing — that is the end of the interaction. It is your responsibility to stop immediately and respectfully.
Consent is an active agreement, not a grey area to navigate. When in doubt, pause and ask.
Privacy & Discretion
Every member has a right to privacy — and a responsibility to protect it.
Never disclose or discuss another member’s identity or experiences outside the ChouChou community.
At black-tie events, all phones and digital devices must be checked into the cloakroom.
At all other events, phones must be kept out of sight and not used in shared spaces.
No photography, filming, or recording is permitted at any time during events.
Trust and safety begin with mutual respect and are upheld by collective care.
Behaviour & Community Standards
Every member is responsible for upholding the culture of respect and safety that defines our community — both in person and within our online community area.
All interactions, whether face-to-face or online, must be approached with courtesy, mutual respect, emotional intelligence, and self-awareness.
Disrespectful behaviour — including inappropriate language, unsolicited advances, or the dismissal of boundaries — is not acceptable. Consent applies everywhere.
Discrimination of any kind — based on gender, race, sexuality, neurodivergence, disability, body type, or faith — will not be tolerated.
If someone’s conduct causes discomfort or harm, notify a host or organiser promptly. All reports are handled seriously and with discretion.
Respect is not optional — it is a condition of belonging. Any breaches of the above will result in disciplinary action and may lead to termination of membership.
Drugs & Alcohol
ChouChou strives to maintain a safe, enjoyable environment for all members. To support this, we enforce the following:
We reserve the right to intervene and limit alcohol consumption for any member who appears overly intoxicated, which may include asking them to leave the event to preserve the safety and comfort of all attendees.
ChouChou has a strict zero-tolerance policy for illegal drugs at all events. Any member found in breach of this policy will face immediate expulsion and potential termination of membership.
Members are encouraged to drink responsibly and stay hydrated. Non-alcoholic options are always available.
Hygiene & Grooming
Personal cleanliness and grooming are essential to maintaining a respectful and enjoyable environment for all members. Please ensure you:
Arrive well-groomed and clean, especially before engaging in close or intimate interactions.
Use fragrances mindfully to ensure the comfort of everyone around you.
Playroom Etiquette
Our play spaces are shared environments that everyone deserves to enjoy comfortably. To keep them welcoming and safe, please:
Leave play areas clean and tidy for the next member. Exercise care to avoid spills or damage, and if any occur, notify a host or organiser promptly.
Dispose of any used items responsibly and thoughtfully.
Be considerate of others using these spaces to maintain a respectful and harmonious environment.
Punctuality & Participation
ChouChou Project events are carefully curated to build intimacy, connection, and atmosphere from the very first moment.
Please arrive on time to honour the experience and the energy of the evening.
If unforeseen delays arise, notify a host in advance whenever possible.
On departure, please let one of the organisers or team members know so we are aware.
SAFETY & PROTECTION
Your wellbeing, and that of others, is a shared responsibility.
Safe sex practices are always encouraged, and communication is always essential. Condoms and lubricant are provided — please use them thoughtfully and generously.
If supplies run low, please notify a member of the team so we can restock.
We ask all members to take responsibility for their sexual health. Know your status, stay informed, and take appropriate precautions when engaging with others.
Safety is not just physical — it’s emotional, energetic, and communal.
LIABILITY ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
All participation in ChouChou Project events is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.
While we take every measure to ensure a safe, respectful, and well-held environment, each member is ultimately responsible for their own choices and conduct — including clear communication of needs, limits, and boundaries.
ChouChou is not liable for any incidents, injuries, or interpersonal experiences that occur during or outside of our events and community spaces.
Please engage mindfully and always within your own limits.
Feedback, Questions & Reports
We encourage all members to speak up if they experience or witness behaviour that causes discomfort, breaches our rules, or compromises safety — whether during events or within the online community area.
Please notify a host or organiser immediately in person, or contact us promptly at hello@chouchouproject.com.
All reports are treated with the utmost seriousness, confidentiality, and respect.
Your voice matters. Together, we maintain the integrity, safety, and kindness of the ChouChou Project community.
Acknowledgment & Acceptance
Legal Acceptance Clause
By submitting your application and/or accepting an invitation to become a member of the ChouChou Project, you agree to be bound by the Confidentiality Agreement and the Rules & Code of Conduct set out above. You acknowledge that your continued membership is conditional upon your ongoing compliance with these terms.
